Digikala’s Live Commerce Initiative and Partnership with Livuvo
E-commerce platforms are perpetually driven by the pursuit of innovative ways to engage with their audience in a more profound, human-like manner, aiming to enhance customer penetration and establish closer relationships with their clientele. Live commerce, as an exemplar, serves as a testament to this pursuit.
Digikala, positioned as the paramount e-commerce platform in the MENA region, consistently endeavors to provide superior services and foster deeper connections with its stakeholders, comprising both buyers and sellers. In alignment with this ethos, the Live Commerce project has been conceived within Digikala’s Magnet section, with the primary objective of facilitating more effective and enriched communication with the audience, while also advancing towards the creation of a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) platform.
The journey commenced when Digikala’s Live Commerce department entered the integration and testing phase, marking a collaborative effort with Livuvo, in March 2023. Subsequently, with bespoke customizations tailored to this platform, it transitioned into the operational phase on April 29th, and this partnership continues to evolve.
At Livuvo, our platform empowers businesses with the tools to deliver live commerce services. Through features such as real-time chat, live product showcases, instant access to analytics, and various other interactive elements within live video broadcasts, businesses can establish more meaningful connections with their audience. Ultimately, this fosters a heightened sense of tangibility in the realm of online shopping.

In the inaugural 100 days of implementing Digikala’s Live Commerce shows, powered by the Livuvo platform, the following milestones have been achieved:
